Sr. Solutions Architect
Paul has broad and deep experience in healthcare safety, quality and clinical risk management. He holds a certificate in Pharmacy Informatics from the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Prior to joining Riskonnect, Paul was senior director for pharmacy safety services at a legacy incident reporting system vendor, Quantros, where he managed key pharmacy client relationships and guided the development of its pharmacy safety reporting solutions.
In retail pharmacy, Paul was senior manager and program leader for quality assurance for pharmacy division of Walmart, and served various clinical and leadership roles for Target Pharmacy, Schnuck’s and others. Paul has a diverse clinical and operational background in healthcare, serving as a U.S. Air Force pharmacy technician, hospital pharmacy director, national disaster medical system pharmacy team lead and clinical and research pharmacist. Paul holds an MBA from Columbia College and a BS in Pharmacy from The University of Missouri.
Senior Director, Market Strategy & Development
Jay oversees growth strategy for the company’s healthcare offerings. Prior to Riskonnect, Jay was vice president of market development for Quantros, responsible for developing new market opportunities for the legacy incident reporting system vendor in ambulatory, retail pharmacy, safety data assets, EHR integration and Patient Safety Organization (PSO) services.
Jay has more than 20 years leading strategic growth initiatives for a number of healthcare information technology and services companies, including Ingenix (now Optum), part of UnitedHealth Group. He is a journalist by training, with degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and Stanford University, and with experience in local, national and international news, politics and features with several mainstream and specialty publications including The Baltimore Sun.
Sales Executive, Healthcare
Brian brings to Riskonnect over 17 years of experience in providing cloud based patient safety & risk management solutions to the healthcare market. He joins Riskonnect from Quantros, Inc., where he was a Sr. Regional Territory Manager from 2006 to 2014. In this position, Brian was responsible for introducing and providing patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement solutions to the healthcare market.
Prior to coming to Quantros in 2006, Brian was a Sales Manager with the U.S. Pharmacopeia from 1999 to 2006 where he successfully introduced Medmarx, the first SaaS based Adverse Drug Event reporting solution, to hospitals across the country.
